Let’s be honest, hosting a District Governor’s visit is the Rotary equivalent of preparing for in-laws. Floors were polished, reports were printed (and reprinted), and our club secretary discovered just how many font sizes a Rotary presentation can have.
But when DG Anne Nkutu finally arrived, it was nothing short of electric. Her words of encouragement, her poise, and her challenge to us to “scale impact, not just events” still echo in our ears. That day reminded us that Rotary isn’t about filling the calendar,it’s about fulfilling a calling.
